WACEO supports the age of compliant decentralised governance by creating a trusted environment of competent Member Service Providers that can provide services to member DAOs that aim to achieve compliant decentralised governance.
It’s not easy developing the regulatory structure for organizations at the cutting edge of technology and the law. As such, we have divided into three committees that specialize in specific areas, as follows:
Ensures that tokens used within DAOs are aligned to their proposed use case by producing audits and creating policies affecting the structure and utility of the tokens.
Ensures that proper governance practices are applied and that all stakeholders are represented in their respective DAOs by auditing their Treasury and internal governance.
Ensures that DAOs become compliant and sufficiently decentralized by generating legal and regulatory audits on their formation and management, as well as producing an associated roadmap regarding internal governance structural goals. Additionally, they create contracts, policies and procedures to help stakeholders working with and within DAOs have regulatory clarity while innovating.
In addition to these tasks, individual Committees may produce case studies and position papers, which are distributed to the General Assembly and Policy Makers when deemed necessary.
